YAPPY HOUR SPECTACULAR CONTEST FOR 2016
2015 has been very successful! We have been asked to continue our fundraising through next year! What a blessing! If your Manatee area 501 C3 Shelter, Foster or Rescue would like to participate, please read the following instructions.
600 word essay on why you think your organization is deserving of our hard work to earn you money. It’s just that simple. We want to know what your organization does that is worthy of all the hard work that goes into a Yappy Hour Spectacular.
Your deadline for entry is October 31, 2015 and we will be choosing our 2016 lineup in November. 12 essays will be selected and those organizations will be expected to participate in the coming year.
What this means to you is that your organization will supply volunteers to work the 4 hour event the third Sunday of the month you have been chosen for. You will supply your own tent, tables and chairs and materials to pass out. If you have animals ready for adoption, this is a chance to find them furever homes!
You will self promote this event and show your efforts are deserving of free money. What ever money is raised will be handed to your organization’s leader that day. You will supply a receipt to Feathers and Tails Hideaway for the money you received.
Your organization will participate in the December 2016 Christmas Event that will showcase all of the shelters, fosters and rescues that participated in the years events. All of the funds raised that day will be divided between the organizations.
This event gets national and world wide attention through the courtesy of The Pet Lady radio show on Suncoast Community Radio, Radio Ear Network and local news and media. This is in addition to what the organization publicizes. F&TH will not be solely responsible for your advertising your event. Your organization must do their part.
